Conqueror
Kills bollworms, armyworms, stem borers, aphids and whiteflies on contact and when eaten.
Conqueror
Our strongest organic insecticide, for worms, borers and sap-suckers
Armyworms in the maize, borers in the stems, bollworms in the cotton: Conqueror is the one to reach for when caterpillars are eating your crop. It combines three plant extracts that attack insects in different ways, so one spray deals with chewing and sucking pests together.
What it controls: bollworms, armyworms, cutworms, budworms, stem borers, caterpillars, weevils, aphids, whiteflies and termites.
Crops: cotton, maize, sorghum, beans, soybeans, peas, tomatoes, pepper, cabbage, lettuce, cucumber, tobacco, fruit trees, coffee and bananas.
Pack: 1 litre · NAFDAC Reg. No.: A5-2334
How it works
Kills on contact and when eaten. Insects die from a direct hit, or after feeding on sprayed leaves.
Stops them growing. It blocks the proteins insects need to grow and moult, so young caterpillars don't reach adulthood.
Breaks the cycle. It repels larvae and adult insects, makes adults sterile and puts them off laying eggs, so fewer insects come back.
How to mix: Shake the bottle well. Half-fill the knapsack with clean water, add 120 ml of Conqueror per 16-litre knapsack and mix well, then top up with water. Spray straight away with a properly calibrated knapsack or boom sprayer. One litre treats about one hectare, roughly 8 knapsack loads.
When to spray: First spray 2–3 weeks after the crop comes up, or as soon as you see insects. Repeat at the interval in the table below.
Safety: Conqueror is plant-based, but it is still a poison. It can seriously harm you if swallowed or splashed in your eyes, and it irritates skin and lungs. Wear gloves and a face mask. Spray in the early morning or late evening, when bees aren't feeding.
Keep it out of water: Conqueror can be toxic to fish. Never wash the sprayer or empty containers in a stream, river or pond.
